FROM THE PRODUCER
El Mirador is a 31-hectare family farm led by Elkin Guzmán and his wife Diana, a professional barista. Together, they’ve built a reputation for pushing the boundaries of coffee fermentation and flavor. For over 13 years, they’ve experimented with innovative post-harvest methods — including the use of added fruits and controlled fermentation environments — always with full transparency and respect for their terroir.
Their semi-shade cultivation system optimizes temperature and photosynthesis, producing consistent quality across two harvests: Mitaca (May–July) and Main Harvest (September–December). By combining agronomy expertise and creative processing, Elkin and Diana have become pioneers of Colombia’s new generation of specialty producers.
