Inzá – Colombia Caturra & Colombia Coffee Beans
Inzá – A Colombia Washed by SOLO Brewing
From the mountains of eastern Cauca, Colombia, Inzá brings together the work of smallholder farmers and the distinctive growing conditions of the Colombian Massif. Grown at 1,800–2,000 metres above sea level, this lot combines Caturra and Colombia varieties, cultivated on family-owned farms in the region of Tierradentro.
In the cup, delicate white floral notes meet apricot, with cocoa nib depth and caramel sweetness. Selected for filter coffee, Inzá invites you to explore a balance of floral, fruit and sweet notes in your daily brew.
Cool mountain air, fertile soils and abundant rainfall shape this remarkable coffee-growing landscape. Here, coffee is more than a crop: it is a tradition passed between generations, rooted in a close connection to the land.
Process Information
This coffee is washed processed. Its identity begins with its high-altitude origin and the care of the smallholder families who cultivate it.
The People Behind the Coffee
Most producers in Inzá manage family farms of two to three hectares, with coffee as their main agricultural activity. This lot comes from a network of producers locally coordinated by the Pillimué family, a well-established reference within the area's coffee-growing community.
Their work supports small producers through training, quality control and the promotion of sustainable farming practices. Initiatives include projects focused on organic production, the preparation of biofertilizers and the reuse of resources generated on the farms themselves.
